UPDATED COVID 19 POLICIES

Dear Central Montessori School families and staff

On February 28 California Governor announced that indoor mask mandate for
children at schools/childcare centers is highly recommended, but not required
beginning Monday, March 14th.
Our Covid-19 Protocol will also be updated accordingly.

Wellness assessment,

All children and staff will have a wellness assessment upon arrival and throughout
the day monitoring for symptoms such as respiratory, digestive, lethargy, etc.…
Students and staff with any symptoms of illness will not be permitted on campus.
Children with symptoms will be isolated from the group. Parents will be called for
pick up within 30 minutes, if parents are not available, emergency contact will be
called for pickup. A Covid 19 negative test is require upon returning to school.

COVID-19 Policies,

If your child tests positive for Covid, they must stay home for 5 days, if the test is
negative on day 5, your child may return to school on day 6. Children with close
contact are required to show proof of Covid 19 negative test results before
returning to school. Classroom closure is no longer required.
We would like to practice these new changes to our guideline for a few weeks
before going back to our extended hours (7:00-8:30 am, 3:00-6:00 pm).
Central Montessori School remains committed to taking actions that protects the
health, safety and the welfare of our students and staff.
It has been a long couple of years, and we are sincere and thankful for your
continued support. We are looking forward to focusing into our classroom’s
services and the many programs that helps our students learn, grow and flourish.

Warm wishes- Banafsheh Mortazavi
